Job summary

Expeditors, a global logistics leader, seeks a detail-oriented operations professional in the Chicago area. You will understand process flows, collaborate with management, and monitor in-transit shipments to uphold data integrity and KPI compliance.

Strong communication and a proven customer service track record are essential. Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year in domestic operations, proficient MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Knowledge of the Chicagoland area.
6 months to 1 year of domestic operations experience.
Operations/Industry knowledge preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven history of exceptional customer service.
Strong MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote.
Position pays $20.00-$28.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Understand department process flow and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Collaborating with management.
Monitoring shipments in transit daily to ensure data integrity and KPI compliance.
Communicate effectively with customers and Expeditors offices worldwide.
Status reports sent daily to customers; delays are noted with reasons.
Escalation of problems to Management when necessary.
