Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences in the United States seeks a Logistics Coordinator to ensure accurate, timely shipment and delivery of products and materials. You will support internal and external customers with strong communication and organized logistics processes.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, coordinating documentation, and assisting with cost control and compliance while supporting accounting and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• College graduate preferred with degree in supply chain management, business, operations management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and monitors pickup, delivery, and distribution of products and materials.
• Assesses order and shipping status and communicates with other departments as required.
• Coordinates shipment cancellations and changes.
• Supports customer service and shipping to ensure documentation and packaging meet requirements.
• Ensures tracking for international and domestic shipments and expedites as needed.
• Provides freight quote estimates as requested by sales or shipping personnel.
• Supports Accounting to ensure accurate freight invoicing.
• Maintains transactions, paperwork, reports, and documentation to meet compliance.
• Files insurance and carrier claims related to shipping activities.
• Reviews freight, carrier, and 3PL invoices for charges and codes.
• Evaluates freight or inventory costs related to transit times.
• Evaluates and implements procedures to improve service, efficiency, cost, and company reputation.
