Rocket Lab is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic and international shipments from the Long Beach, CA headquarters. You will coordinate inbound/outbound freight, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with internal teams and vendors to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1+ years of experience.
• Exposure to international shipping regulations is a plus.
• Basic understanding of freight forwarding and customs regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

• Plan inbound and outbound shipments for timely delivery.
• Schedule transportation and resolve shipping issues.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and document accuracy.
• Identify process improvements to optimize logistics operations.
• Train and support logistics staff to meet goals.
• Build relationships with vendors and monitor performance.
• Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Track KPIs and prepare performance reports.
• Develop risk management and contingency plans for disruptions.
