Job summary

BAMKO is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic export programs and international import operations. You will own end-to-end movement of shipments, coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, forwarders, and project managers, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of import/export experience, HTS knowledge, and proficiency in Word/Excel, with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of import/export experience required.
• HTS classification knowledge essential.
• Understanding of EORI, CERS, and US import/export requirements.
• Strong knowledge of trucking, logistics terms, and practices.
• Experience with international shipping regulations.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Excellent phone and email communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with multiple shipments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare export documentation for warehouses and suppliers, ensuring accuracy.
• Track export shipments proactively to prevent delays.
• Coordinate with shipper and Project Manager to drive resolution.
• Investigate inbound country requirements prior to shipment (testing, docs).
• Verify destination labeling and regulatory compliance before departure.
• Resolve transportation and system issues affecting shipments.
• Manage international shipments from start to finish with clients.
• Arrange bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, and co-loaders.
• Coordinate end-to-end inbound shipments (freight forwarders, customs, delivery).
• Maintain HTS classifications and tariff treatment for imports.
