Job summary

Midwest Technology Partnership, LLC (MTP) is seeking a Logistics Support to manage transport planning and documentation for domestic and international shipments. You will act as the primary contact for logistics providers and internal partners, coordinating pickups, tracking shipments, and ensuring regulatory compliance with export/import requirements.

The role requires a 2+ year background in supply chain or logistics, a strong understanding of import/export rules, and proficiency with tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent level of experience).
• Minimum of 2 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations and logistics planning processes.
• Proficiency with shipment tracking platforms and/or shipping software (e.g. World Courier, FedEx, DHL).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments at once; ability to prioritize workflow.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel and Outlook.
• Certification for 49CFR and IATA.

Responsibilities

• Manage transport planning and documentation for domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with export/import requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for logistics providers and internal partners to resolve shipment issues.
• Coordinate domestic and international pickups with suppliers and freight forwarders; track shipments from origin to delivery.
• Maintain R&D Logistic HUB records and electronically file supporting documents for regulatory retention.
• Train on and follow R&D, Global Logistics, and International Trade and Compliance procedures.
