Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist, Carrier Management to manage day-to-day carrier execution and risk for Starlink’s freight, across air, ocean and ground, domestically and internationally.

You will oversee lanes, monitor performance, coordinate with internal teams, and drive cost-effective, compliant logistics solutions while supporting ITAR/C-TPAT compliance and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of global logistics operations experience
• Strong carrier management and transport risk focus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily carrier execution and performance across inbound/outbound shipments
• Monitor carrier performance and implement corrective actions
• Track status for inbound/outbound materials and act as logistics point of contact
• Mitigate transport risks and coordinate with procurement, sales and customer service
• Negotiate rates and service levels with carriers and assist contract development
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance
