Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist, Carrier Management, Starlink, to manage daily carrier execution across domestic and international freight. You will oversee lanes, apply risk mitigation, and coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure on-time, compliant shipments.

You will handle performance tracking, rate negotiations, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with procurement, sales, and customer service to deliver reliable and cost-effective logistics

Qualifications

• 3+ years of global logistics operations, with a focus on domestic and international supply chains.
• Experience in carrier management and transport risk mitigation.
• Experience with intermodal networks and global logistics models; ITAR/C-TPAT compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee carrier management, daily operations, shipment flows, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor carrier performance and implement corrective actions to ensure service quality and compliance.
• Track and update status for inbound/outbound materials; act as primary logistics contact for Starlink.
• Mitigate transport risks by identifying issues and implementing risk management strategies.
• Manage exceptions and disruptions to minimize impact on supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service to ensure alignment across functions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure reliable, cost-effective services.
• Negotiate rates, service levels, and contract terms with carriers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations; implement best practices in carrier management.
• Analyze transport data to identify improvements and cost reductions.
• Communicate updates to stakeholders and report daily/weekly statuses.
• Ensure practices meet regulatory documentation and customer flow-downs.
