Job summary

Ascent Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to guide shipments from quote through final delivery, coordinating with internal teams to optimize routes, rates, and service levels. You’ll analyze options, communicate decisions to customers, and monitor shipments to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

Candidates should bring strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with international logistics and U.S. regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• College degree in related field required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to inquiries and present information to diverse audiences.
• Experience with international logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking and make key decisions on behalf of customers.
• Analyze shipping options and provide recommendations based on price, transit time, routing, and customer requirements.
• Monitor shipment progress from loading to final delivery and address issues.
• Prepare and execute documents for customs and government agencies.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers to ensure timely service.
