Equinix is seeking a strategic Localization Leader to oversee translation and localization governance, standards, and vendor relationships. You will drive continuous improvement across localization processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure multilingual content quality and consistency.

Ideal candidate has extensive localization experience, strong vendor management skills, and a deep understanding of language tiering and translation quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in localization, translation management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of language tiering models and translation quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across teams.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and driving process improvements.
• Familiarity with translation tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own internal guidance on language sets, service levels, and translation quality.
• Evaluate and update priority languages and language tiering models as Equinix expands into new markets.
• Reinforce localization best practices across the organization and serve as an escalation point for translation issues.
• Collaborate with the business to identify content that must be translated by language tier across end-to-end experience.
• Establish style guidelines for translation tone and formality and disseminate to vendors and reviewers.
• Own the decision framework to determine mandatory languages and service levels for all content.
