Thomson Reuters is seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Litigation to manage a global disputes portfolio for a leading technology and information solutions company. The role focuses on commercial litigation, IP enforcement, and privacy/antitrust matters across multiple jurisdictions.

You will join the GCO Litigation Practice Group, working with outside counsel and business leaders to develop strategy and leverage advanced legal technology, including AI tools and eDiscovery, to drive efficient

Qualifikationen

• Law degree and admission to practice in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5–10+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation or arbitration.
• Technology-forward mindset with experience using legal AI and eDiscovery tools.
• Sound judgment with ability to provide timely, practical advice and set strategy.
• Strong written and oral communication with cross‑jurisdiction collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Manage commercial disputes and litigation across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead copyright and other intellectual property enforcement and defense.
• Direct class action defense, including antitrust and privacy claims.
• Develop and oversee litigation strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Select, instruct, and oversee outside counsel globally.
• Oversee disclosure, discovery, and records management using legal tech.
• Respond to subpoenas, regulatory requests, and other third‑party demands.
