Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a Legal Operations & Transformation professional to administer e-billing and matter management, supporting invoice processing, onboarding law firms, and spend management across the Legal, Government Affairs, Risk & Compliance organization. You will partner with Finance, Procurement, and technology teams to deliver governance, reporting, and process improvements while ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

This is an on-site U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in legal operations, e-billing, or related fields.
• Experience with e-billing, matter management, finance or procurement systems.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint; ability to produce executive-ready materials.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional workstreams.
• Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve workflows.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator for e-billing and matter management.
• Process, review, and monitor legal invoices for timely approvals and compliance.
• Coordinate matter setup, vendor onboarding, and related system admin tasks.
• Monitor invoice exceptions and workflow issues, resolve with stakeholders.
• Support outside counsel engagement, fee arrangement administration, and accrual tracking.
• Generate routine and ad hoc reporting on legal spend and metrics.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, and technology teams on spend management and improvements.
• Maintain e-billing documentation and governance materials.
• Assist with implementation and rollout of legal tech enhancements.
• Coordinate special projects with updates, dashboards, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Conduct process analyses to identify improvements and user's experience gains.
