Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, e-billing administration, legal support, or related fields.
• Experience with e-billing, matter management, finance, procurement, or enterprise systems.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to prepare executive reports.
• Experience leading projects, tracking milestones, and driving workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Administer the department’s e-billing and matter management platform daily.
• Review and monitor legal invoices for compliance and proper coding.
• Coordinate matter setup, vendor onboarding, and related admin tasks.
• Monitor workflow issues and resolve data quality problems with stakeholders.
• Support outside counsel engagement, accrual tracking, and budget reporting.
• Generate routine and ad hoc spend and activity reports.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and IT on process improvements.
• Maintain documentation, playbooks, and controls for governance.
• Assist with implementation, testing, and rollout of legal tech enhancements.
• Lead special projects with status updates and stakeholder follow-up.
