Job summary

Airalo is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide broad commercial and regulatory support across the business. You will work with Commercial, Product, and Marketing teams on deal execution, contract risk, and data privacy in a global eSIM marketplace.

This fully remote role covers Spain, the UK, and the UAE. You’ll draft, review and negotiate partnerships, vendor and telecom contracts, maintain templates, and help shape governance and compliance programs for a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) or equivalent with 2+ years PQE.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (partnership, vendor, distribution).
• Experience advising business teams on regulatory exposure and contract risk in a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements (partnership, vendor, distribution) to support Airalo’s global eSIM marketplace operations across 200+ countries.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to business teams on contractual risk, regulatory exposure, and deal structuring.
• Support data privacy and protection compliance efforts, including GDPR and other regional data protection frameworks.
• Assist in monitoring and interpreting telecommunications and consumer protection regulations across key operating markets.
• Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal documentation.
• Support corporate governance matters, including entity management and coordination with external counsel.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with People, Finance, and Security teams on legal matters affecting team members, vendors, and company policy.
