Job summary

IP House, a global IP protection and enforcement firm, is seeking a Counsel, Contracts & Compliance for a global role reporting to the COO. This early‑career position focuses on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and internal governance across US/UK teams.

You will draft and negotiate MSAs/SOWs, support RFP responses, train on privacy/compliance, and liaise with external counsel in multiple jurisdictions, in a fast‑paced global environment.

Qualifications

• JD/US bar admission required or UK-qualified with barrister/solicitor status.
• 2+ years PQE in law firm or in-house legal role.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with data privacy, anti-bribery, competition law.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external counsel.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and licensing agreements.
• Own contract lifecycle management including terms, obligations, deadlines, and renewals.
• Support proposals, RFPs, and risk assessment of contractual terms.
• Develop and deliver internal policies, training materials, and documentation for compliance.
