Job summary

Zscaler, a leading cloud security company, is hiring for a global Leave of Absence and Disability lead in Bellevue. You will design and implement comprehensive LOA programs, manage TPAs, and partner with HRIS and payroll to ensure accurate tracking across regions.

The role requires deep knowledge of US leave laws, 8+ years in benefits, and strong leadership to drive process improvements and automation using AI-enabled insights. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field with 8+ years in Health & Welfare Benefits.
• 5+ years focused on Global Leave of Absence and Disability administration.
• 3+ years direct people management, ideally distributed or global teams.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal/state leave laws (FMLA, ADA, CFRA, PFL) and international leave systems.
• Proficiency with HRIS, Absence Management software, and case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and standardize global leave frameworks balancing statutory requirements with company benefits as SME for complex ADA cases and regulatory consistency
• Build and implement Leave of Absence & Time Off and disability policies; implementing new vendors and solutions as necessary
• Manage Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) by enforcing SLAs, leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and audits
• Oversee end-to-end leave lifecycle, partnering with HRIS to automate tracking and ensure seamless integration across vendors, Workday, ServiceNow, and payroll systems
• Leverage analytics and dashboards to identify bottlenecks, automate manual tasks, and continuously improve program performance and the employee experience
• Cultivate a high-performing, inclusive global team that drives results through cross-functional relationships, leading through ambiguity and a 'one team' mindset
