Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Global Manufacturing and Operational Excellence Director to lead OpEx for the Starline team in Canonsburg, PA. This senior role oversees CI initiatives across three global sites (US/UK/Singapore) and drives Industry 4.0, NPI, and lean programs to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The position requires 10+ years in Lean/CI within industrial manufacturing, strong leadership, and a proven Six Sigma record.

Qualifications

Requires a strong Lean/Six Sigma background and track record of CI success.
Experience leading kaizens and training teams in multi-site operations.
Proven ability to develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead global deployment of Operational Excellence across three sites (US/UK/Singapore).
Drive digital transformation, Industry 4.0, automation and smart factory initiatives.
Own the NPI process within manufacturing for seamless global integration.
Establish lean principles and a CI culture to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost KPIs.
Oversee OpEx training, coaching, and leadership development; promote Legrand Way.
Develop CI roadmap and enhance Visual Factory with dashboards and standard work.
Collaborate with Plant Managers to manage annual OPEX budgets and CapEx.
Drive accountability, data-driven improvements, and KPI reporting to leadership.
Partner with Quality to address production/customer/quality issues; root cause analysis.
Champion Master Data governance and data accuracy across Starline.
Travel 20-30% to domestic and international locations.
