Legrand canonsburg-based role seeks a Global Manufacturing and Operational Excellence Director to lead OpEx across three sites worldwide, guiding lean, Six Sigma, and digital manufacturing initiatives to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The candidate will have 10+ years Lean/CI experience in industrial manufacturing and a proven track record in kaizen leadership and cross-functional coaching, with 20–30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Master's or MBA preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
• 10+ years supporting Lean/CI activities in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3–5 years leading kaizens and training teams on lean principles & tools.
• Proven Lean/Six Sigma track record with progressive manufacturing organizations.
• Experience developing and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills at strategic and functional levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead global OpEx initiatives across three manufacturing sites (US, UK, Singapore).
• Drive digital transformation of manufacturing operations (Industry 4.0, automation, smart factory).
• Own the NPI process within manufacturing for global integration of new products.
• Establish vision for lean and continuous improvement culture across sites with Standard Work and Visual Factory improvements.
• Develop OpEx training, coaching, and leadership development; implement Legrand Way tools.
• Develop a CI roadmap and manage lean manufacturing philosophy; drive cost and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with Plant Managers to manage annual OpEx budget including productivity savings and CapEx.
• Drive accountability and KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost, CapEx, and working capital.
• Conduct operational diagnostics and develop data-driven improvement plans.
• Partner with Quality to address production and customer issues; govern Master Data for Starline.
• Travel 20–30% domestically and internationally (UK, Singapore).
