Job summary

BCLP is seeking a Manager, Learning & Development to build and lead the firm’s management and leadership curriculum across Global Business Services and Paralegal populations.

The role will design comprehensive development pathways to enable leaders to manage performance, develop talent, and create high-performing teams, while shaping broader professional development offerings and driving business impact.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in learning and development or related fields, preferably in professional services.
• Proven experience designing and implementing management and leadership development programs.
• Experience building curricula, development pathways, or capability frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of learning and development strategy for Global Business Services professionals and Paralegals.
• Design and build the management and leadership development curriculum from scratch with structured learning pathways.
• Partner with GBS leaders to identify capability gaps and develop learning solutions.
• Design and deliver engaging learning experiences focusing on core management skills (coaching, feedback, performance management, communication).
• Develop broader learning pathways covering professional effectiveness, collaboration, client service, and career development.
• Conduct needs analyses using business and talent data to inform priorities and continuous improvement.
• Build partnerships with business leaders and SMEs to address evolving needs and align with organizational goals.
• Source and manage external learning providers and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Measure learning effectiveness using feedback and business outcomes to refine programs.
• Collaborate with People Team to align learning initiatives with talent, performance, and career development.
