Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) is seeking a Manager, Test Engineering to lead the Testing Team and advance thermal testing capabilities. The role drives testing methods, data quality, and alignment with modeling and product performance across multiple projects and regions.

Responsibilities include ownership of lab systems and equipment, training of personnel, and collaboration with NPD, Thermal Engineering, and Regional Engineering to push continuous improvement in testing processes.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical (or similar) Engineering with emphasis in thermodynamics, heat/mass transfer and fluid mechanics.
• Engineering programming skills, Excel VBA or similar, and ability to work with CAD software.
• 6+ years experience in HVAC & refrigeration system testing.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead thermal testing programs, ensuring accurate execution, high-quality data, and timely delivery for NPD, modeling, certification, and customers.
• Lead testing to support predictive modeling and product development, including prototype testing and data reduction.
• Drive data analysis to translate test data into actionable product design improvements and model validation.
• Own CTI-related activities, including certification testing and compliance with standards.
• Represent BAC in CTI and industry forums to share best practices.
• Lead the test engineering team, set priorities, assign work, and drive training and career development.
