Job summary

HireLifeScience in the United States is seeking an Associate Director to lead external LM drug substance programs within our global CMO network. You will drive tech transfer, process development, scale-up, and lifecycle management for LM assets, coordinating across R&D, QA, regulatory and supply chain to ensure on-time delivery and quality across suppliers.

This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to manage end-to-end projects with external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or comparable.
• Minimum 10 yrs. of relevant experience.
• Experience in development of viral vaccines and LM drug substances (mAbs, antigens for vaccines, ADCs, mRNA) and strong technical capability.
• 5+ years in LM process development roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead LM drug substance projects in a global CDMO network, focusing on technical transfer, development, scale-up, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee supplier selection, tech transfer and process development with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional meetings to monitor changes, deviations and improvement projects.
• Provide leadership in end-to-end execution of sourcing, transfer, and commercialization activities.
