Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Launch Program Manager in the Nashville area to own and execute highly strategic launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, process optimization, and delivering results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

You will manage multiple time-sensitive initiatives, drive program requirements, and partner to build roadmaps that impact operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Gain trust and consistently deliver results.
• Work backwards from the customer to scope and define program requirements and critical milestones.
• Navigate ambiguous situations without heavily relying on direct support from their leader.
• Demonstrate a high level of ownership to drive multiple time sensitive actions items simultaneously through multiple business groups.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines whilst maintaining a customer focus.
• Collaborate and influence team members, work with development teams and other business groups, and present projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
• Partner to build and execute on new initiatives and roadmaps each year.
• Optimize cross-team processes that improve team efficacy and delivery.
• Take ownership and accountability for programs, while maintaining the ability to ask for help, and elevate issues and problems as necessary to keep programs on track.
• Problem solve with a high degree of ambiguity and operating in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape.
• Dive into the details and leverage high judgment and gut instinct.
• Communicate effectively to all stakeholders related to a launch or program/project.
• This role requires extensive travel, up to 75%.
