Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Launch Program Manager to lead strategic, large-scale launches and cross-functional programs that scale the GES organization for the future. You will influence stakeholders across multiple teams, own roadmaps, and drive improvements to meet operational benchmarks.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, ownership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering results for internal operations and customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Bachelor's degree and/or 2-year Amazon experience.

Responsibilities

• Gain trust and consistently deliver results.
• Work backwards from the customer to scope and define program requirements and critical milestones.
• Navigate ambiguous situations without heavily relying on direct support from their leader.
• Demonstrate a high level of ownership to drive multiple time sensitive actions items simultaneously through multiple business groups.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines whilst maintaining a customer focus.
• Collaborate and influence team members, work with development teams and other business groups, and present projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
• Partner to build and execute on new initiatives and roadmaps each year.
• Optimize cross-team processes that improve team efficacy and delivery.
• Take ownership and accountability for programs, while maintaining the ability to ask for help, and elevate issues and problems as necessary to keep programs on track.
• Problem solve with a high degree of ambiguity and operating in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape.
• Dive into the details and leverage high judgment and gut instinct.
• Communicate effectively to all stakeholders related to a launch or program/project.
• This role requires extensive travel, up to 75%.
