Job Summary
The Global Key Account Manager (GKAM) is an executive-level sales leader responsible for managing regional strategic account managers and key decision-makers for Avient’s strategic accounts. Based in the United States or Europe (preferably near Cincinnati, OH; Boston, MA; or Geneva, Switzerland), this role focuses on developing long-term, productive relationships with key customers to drive exceptional growth, profitability, and innovation. The GKAM directs global customer initiatives, delivers value by leveraging Avient’s resources, and sells at all management levels to build strong customer relationships. This position requires independent functioning, up to 75% travel, and strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate is dynamic, self-motivated, and passionate about strategic sales and customer relationship management, bringing energy and professionalism to daily routines while coaching and mentoring matrix personnel across business units.
