Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an IT Service Transition Analyst in Auburn Hills, MI to develop, maintain and improve service transition plans, aligning with Operations and Project Management, and tracking post-implementation reviews.

You will drive ITIL-based processes, engage with business units, plan transitions, manage risk, and ensure knowledge transfer and documentation before go-live, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in service transition and service delivery.
• ITIL certification at least Foundation; higher levels preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Service Transition framework and procedures.
• Plan and coordinate transitions to production for new services or changes.
• Define entry and exit criteria for service transition phases.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation plans.
• Ensure documentation is delivered before go-live and knowledge transfer occurs.
