Job summary

Zones is seeking a Project Manager II to lead technology deployment projects in the United States. The role requires planning, execution, and closeout across schedule, scope, budget, customer communication, risk, and multi-site delivery.

You will influence both business and technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates PMI principles, strong problem-solving, and clear written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience within a technology or operations environment.
• Leadership experience managing multiple small to mid-sized projects and teams.
• Project experience involving multi-store or site deployments.
• Ability to take ambiguous requirements, investigate, and develop strategy.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a project that entails replacing POS systems at name brand retail locations.
• Create effective weekly schedules for multiple sites that support goals and delivery timelines.
• Develop workflows for Project Manager and Project Coordinator to minimize duplication and increase efficiency.
• Own project financial management with accurate forecasts and revenue tracking.
• Manage risks, issues, and RAID logs with proactive mitigation and root-cause analysis.
• Create and measure KPIs against baseline metrics for each project effort.
• Interface with customers through email and video, maintaining high satisfaction across touchpoints.
• Manage project scope with customers, develop change requests, and communicate impacts.
• Provide weekly status reporting and support project team with coordinator tasks as needed.
