Job summary

Pave, based in San Francisco, is seeking an IT Manager to own IT operations, platform management (Google Workspace, Okta, Iru), and security for a distributed workforce across SF, New York, Salt Lake City, Kraków, and beyond. You’ll lead IT initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep systems reliable and secure.

You’ll manage a local IT FTE and a contractor, partner with Security on audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001), handle vendor relationships (CDW), and guide automation through IT

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on IT generalist experience in a distributed, multi-office company.
• Experience delivering high-touch onboarding for new hires, from equipment setup to provisioning.
• Hands-on administration of core IT/business platforms including Google Workspace, Okta, Iru, and Claude Code.
• Experience managing IT operations end-to-end: support, access management, device management, and vendor relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for hardware needs.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain core IT platforms across the company, including Google Workspace, Okta, and Iru.
• Manage day-to-day identity and access administration, provisioning and device management.
• Act as the go-to technical expert, guiding issues through resolution.
• Support and maintain office AV equipment and meeting setups.
• Support a global, distributed workforce across multiple offices.
• Monitor system health, uptime, and security posture across platforms.
