Job summary

Veralto, headquartered in Waltham, MA, seeks an IT Internal Audit Director to lead a global IT audit program, oversee ITSOX, cybersecurity reviews, and advisory work. The role partners with executive leadership to elevate governance, data analytics, and risk monitoring across the enterprise.

You will manage a global team and co-source partners, report to the Chief Audit Executive, and travel up to 10% to support operating companies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity, internal audit, public accounting, or IT; leadership experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS/Cybersecurity, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA, CISM, or equivalent credential.
• Deep expertise in ITGCs, cloud platforms, ERP systems, and industry frameworks (NIST CSF, COBIT, ISO 27001, IIA).
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical risk to senior executives and audit committees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global IT and cyber audit strategy and annual plan for technology operations, cybersecurity, cloud, ERP, infrastructure, data governance, and IT SOX controls.
• Oversee IT SOX planning, scoping, testing, deficiency evaluation, remediation tracking, and coordination with external auditors and control owners.
• Lead IT audits and advisory reviews from planning through reporting with high-quality workpapers and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor emerging technology risks (cyber threats, cloud, automation, AI governance, data privacy) for value addition.
• Communicate audit results, risk themes, and remediation status to leadership and external auditors as appropriate.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, finance, compliance, and business ops leaders to strengthen governance and risk management.
