Job summary

Veralto is seeking an IT Internal Audit Director to lead a global IT audit strategy, oversee IT SOX, and drive cybersecurity evaluations. You will partner with executive leadership, manage a global team and co-source partners, and travel up to 10% as needed.

Based in Waltham, MA with a flexible work environment, this role reports to the Chief Audit Executive and emphasizes data analytics, automation, and risk monitoring to deliver business insights.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT audit and risk experience with leadership/management
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, Cybersecurity, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Active credential such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA, or CISM
• Deep knowledge of ITGCs, cloud platforms, ERP systems, and frameworks
• Strong ability to communicate complex risk to senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global IT and cyber audit strategy and annual plan.
• Oversee IT SOX planning, scoping, testing, and remediation with partners.
• Lead IT audits and advisory reviews from planning through reporting.
• Monitor emerging tech risks including AI governance and data privacy.
• Communicate results to leadership and external auditors.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, finance, and operations to strengthen governance.
• Champion data analytics, automation, and technology-enabled audit techniques.
• Manage co-source and external service provider relationships.
• Develop a high-performing IT audit team and support growth.
• Support investigations, acquisitions, divestitures, or integrations as needed.
