Job summary

SEG Solar, a Houston-based solar module manufacturer, seeks a Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to oversee global IT infrastructure across manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on reliable, secure and scalable systems, virtualization, and network architectures to support production and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English as the working language; based in the U.S. with annual travel to Asia.
• 5+ years in IT infrastructure build and O&M; 3+ years in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Hands-on with server hardware, virtualization (Sangfor/VMware/Nutanix) and large clusters.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, implementation and full lifecycle O&M of IT infrastructure for factories and warehouses across US/Asia.
• Lead assessment, upgrade and optimization of server clusters and computer rooms.
• Design and deploy cross-site high availability backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Establish standardized O&M monitoring, alerting and SLA improvements.
• Lead security/compliance initiatives for US and multinational operations.
• Plan unified global intranet interconnection and SD-WAN networking across sites.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects, schedules, budgets and regional O&M teams.
