Job summary

Conservation International in Arlington, VA, is seeking an IT/Help Desk Coordinator to be the frontline support for our global staff. You will handle first- and second-tier tickets, diagnose hardware and software issues on Windows and Mac, and support Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.

You will deploy laptops, maintain the MDM platform, contribute to knowledge bases, runbooks, and ensure SLA adherence while collaborating with teams across cultures and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Tier 1/2 IT support experience.
• Proficiency with Windows 11 and current macOS, peripherals, and productivity software.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and IT administration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line IT support via ticket, email, or chat.
• Diagnose and fix hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues on Windows and Mac devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 — mail flow, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive; escalate as needed.
• Image and deploy laptops for new hires; manage lifecycle events per runbooks.
• Maintain the knowledge base and runbooks; log incidents and resolutions accurately.
