Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation seeks an IT leader for global IT strategy, driving efficiency, security, and Lean initiatives across the Engineered Materials Group. You will partner with division leadership to align IT with business goals and manage cross-functional teams.

The role includes budgeting, roadmap development for new technologies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring a high-performing IT staff while coordinating with corporate IT and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or other closely related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
• MBA or master's degree in Information Technology strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others with 10+ years of experience including 3+ years in leadership.
• Prior experience supporting SAP or other ERP systems is required.
• Prior experience leading IT in a manufacturing environment is required; chemical or process manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have U.S. Permanent Resident status.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with division functional teams to understand needs and develop a roadmap for delivering enhanced capabilities, new technology and systems.
• Implement best practice Infrastructure and security processes and technology with division, group, and corporate resources.
• Collaborate with business, manufacturing, and global counterparts to align IT with business strategies, develop budgets, and five-year plans.
• Lead the team maintaining systems and processes to keep systems running and meeting performance SLAs.
• Ensure SOX compliance, disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, and government regulation compliance (NIST, TISAX, DFARS, CMMC).
• Recruit, develop, and maintain a high performing IT staff; lead talent development and succession planning.
• Determine division vs. enterprise solutions and execute deployment plans.
• Lead the IT organization to uphold safety, ethics, and quality.
