Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Sr. IT Delivery Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives across the organization. You will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and executives to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with goals.

You will manage complex programs, drive operational excellence, and foster collaboration across global teams. Strong leadership, technical acumen, and delivery management expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years delivering complex enterprise IT projects and programs.
• 5+ years leading cross‑functional technology teams and large initiatives.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, timelines, and vendor relations.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methods.
• Experience with enterprise apps, cloud, ERP, HRIS, or digital transformation.
• Strong leadership and communication for senior stakeholders.
• Certifications such as PMP/SAFe are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT initiatives.
• Accountable for successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Define scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics with stakeholders.
• Govern delivery, provide status updates, and manage risks.
• Collaborate with architects, security, dev, and support teams.
• Mentor project managers and delivery team members.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery and operations.
