Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex programs across software and hardware, coordinating product scope, schedule, cost, and risk with diverse teams. You will use formal PM processes to ensure on-budget, on-time, and on-quality delivery while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Manufacturing.

The role requires a BS in a technical field, PMP and Scrum Master certs, and 5+ years in project management or engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
• MS or MBA preferred.
• 5 years' experience as a Project Manager and/or in engineering.
• PMP, Scrum master certification required.
• Experience in cross functional project team management & Software/Hardware Development Lifecycle experience.
• Experience with various development methodologies including waterfall, iterative and agile methods.
• Microsoft project planning and hands on experience in Jira.

Responsibilities

• Direct project activities as well as managing project schedule, scope, risk, and cost.
• Requires in-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques.
• Demonstrated efficient utilization of resources and skills through effective planning and leadership in a matrix organization.
• Experienced in Project Management integrating multiple systems using industry-wide standards in both software and hardware.
• Seeking solid experience managing complex projects and programs working with diverse, multi-disciplined project teams.
