Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Sr. IT Delivery Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives across the organization, partnering with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership. You will ensure on-time, in-scope delivery while driving operational excellence and collaboration across global teams.

The role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and delivery management expertise, with a focus on SDLC, ITIL, DevOps, and modern IT delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years delivering complex enterprise IT projects and programs.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional technology teams and large initiatives.
• Proven experience across multiple workstreams and functions.
• PM methods include Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid; PMP/Agile/SAFe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT initiatives aligned to business goals.
• Serve as primary accountability for delivery within the assigned portfolio.
• Partner with leaders to define scope, timelines, objectives, and metrics.
• Manage multiple projects, resources, risks, and budgets concurrently.
• Drive governance, reporting, and executive communications.
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure, security, dev, and support teams.
• Establish project management standards and best practices.
• Mentor project managers and delivery team members.
• Develop vendor and partner relationships and ensure compliance.
• Support portfolio planning, resource forecasting, and budget management.
• Monitor KPIs and lead continuous improvement across delivery.
