Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Change Manager to lead IT change governance across its global technology teams. The role focuses on planning, assessing, approving, executing, and reviewing IT changes with risk-based controls to ensure reliability and business alignment.

The position supports a hybrid model (Denver-based or remote) and requires strong ITIL knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of improving change performance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise IT operations with at least 2 years in change management or governance.
• Strong understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks and related processes.
• Experience using an ITSM/change platform like ServiceNow to manage workflows and reporting.
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and high-availability environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of IT change management processes.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of IT change requests from intake to post-change review.
• Apply a risk-based change framework to classify changes and mitigate service impacts.
• Facilitate change advisory discussions, readiness and scheduling reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate change execution with business teams, site teams, vendors, and MSP partners.
• Maintain audit-ready change records including scope, risk, plans, approvals, and evidence.
• Monitor and report change-related metrics and KPIs, including approval timeliness and incident trends.
• Support operational readiness for major initiatives, technology refreshes, and cloud governance changes.
• Create and maintain change management guidance, templates, knowledge articles, and training materials.
• Conduct training sessions for submitters, implementers, and approvers to improve adoption.
• Identify process gaps, automation opportunities, and reporting improvements.
• Stay current on IT change management trends and best practices.
• Support resiliency, disaster recovery, and risk management activities.
