Job summary

Aptar Italia S.P.A. seeks an IP Attorney to manage global IP strategy and protect assets across jurisdictions.

You will provide practical IP analysis, drafting, and negotiation support for licenses, NDAs, and collaborations, while coordinating with external counsel and internal business units. You will lead IP risk management, due diligence, and portfolio development, partnering with R&D, Marketing, and Procurement to safeguard innovations and brands.

Qualifications

• Patent attorney/agent with relevant qualification.
• US patent attorney or European patent attorney preferred.
• JD or equivalent degree preferred but not required.
• Typically 4–6 years of experience in IP law or portfolio management.
• Technical background in Aptar’s application fields is a plus.
• Experience with FTO, prosecution, disputes, and post‑grant challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide IP execution and advisory support across patent and IP matters.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP‑related documents and agreements.
• Support IP due diligence in M&A and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate with external counsel under agreed rules of engagement.
• Develop internal IP policies, training, and awareness across teams.
• Support enforcement actions and IP risk management activities.
