Job summary

Ares Management is seeking an Associate for the Global Client Solutions team in Los Angeles. The role supports investor onboarding and data management, coordinating with internal and external teams to improve processes across multiple service areas.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in a fast-paced setting, and strong communication and organizational skills. Salesforce/Intralinks experience and MS Office proficiency are a plus. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years in fast-paced roles (investment/wealth management or financial services)
• Strong teamwork and collaboration
• Eagerness to grow in alternative investments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across time zones
• Excellent presentation, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Intralinks is a plus
• Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint; Visio is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support organizational and project management across Investor Services
• Collaborate with Relationship and Product Management teams globally to streamline processes
• Support investor onboarding, review onboarding documents (subscription, AML/KYC, regulatory and tax)
• Capture investor data during onboarding and lifecycle maintenance
• Respond to investor inquiries in a timely manner
• Elevate complex cases to senior leads
• Reconcile data to Fund Administrators and resolve breaks
• Manage investor data rooms (setup, documents, contacts)
• Assist in developing and training on new workflows leveraging technology
• Build cross-firm network to promote best practices across operations
