Job summary

VersaDesk is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee material flow from raw materials through finished goods at our Los Angeles area facility. You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, and Accounting to maintain accurate inventory, drive improvements, and support manufacturing needs.

The role emphasizes hands-on management of daily operations and refining systems, processes, and accuracy across the inventory lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in inventory management or related field
• World-wide/international inventory management experience
• Strong manufacturing industry experience
• Deep understanding of forecasting, replenishment and optimization
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory from raw materials to finished goods
• Establish and maintain inventory control systems and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels, movements, and discrepancies
• Lead physical counts, cycle counts, and audits
• Identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Production to ensure material availability
• Ensure ERP records align with physical inventory and reporting
