Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Seattle to support internet capacity provisioning across cross-functional projects, driving stability and scalability for next‑gen IP networks. The role focuses on ensuring capacity ahead of demand, coordinating deployments, and delivering high‑quality outcomes for AWS global infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
  • Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

  • Direct collaboration with technical business development peers to align on capacity needs.
  • Build trust-based relationships with deployment stakeholders to drive provisioning.
  • Lead deployments at order and circuit level, coordinating physical and logical provisioning to go live.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, improve processes, automate tasks, and partner with cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
  • Maintain order-level visibility and ownership to go live.
  • Generate insights and workflow changes through metrics, dashboards, and live analysis.
  • Own end-to-end external peering communication during provisioning lifecycle with providers to meet SLAs.
  • Hold key customer meetings to manage expectations and prioritise deployment orders.
  • Conduct partner meetings to ensure SLAs are met across the process.
