Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a highly motivated Program Manager to join the Global Network Capacity Delivery team. You will scope, plan, and coordinate interdependent capacity scaling projects across multiple data center locations to ensure resources are available for timely execution.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication, and the ability to operate under extreme pressure while delivering repeatable processes and cost-efficient capacity growth for our customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 2+ years of computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, data center operations, or technical project management.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams.
• Perform process improvement; gather data on failures and work with teams to resolve.
• Perform hardware verification inspections on server racks and networking devices.
• Launch new network capacity and support deployment on heavy days.
