Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Risk Management team in Mentor, OH. This role acts as a trusted adviser across Business Units, helping manage global insurance programs and drive cross-functional collaboration to strengthen resilience and protect assets and earnings.

The position offers exposure to annual budgeting, variance reporting, and process improvements, with opportunities to advance knowledge in risk management and insurance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business, accounting, finance, or related field; MBA or legal background a plus.
• 2+ years experience in corporate risk management or insurance brokerage for large accounts.
• ARM certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing global insurance programs (renewals, claims, recovery) including Workers’ Comp, GL, Auto, Umbrella, Product Recall, Property, Stock Throughput.
• Collaborate with EHS on loss control and infrared program.
• Provide support to business units (certificates, auto ID cards, notices).
• Administer annual operating plan with monthly/quarterly variance reports and accruals.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and tracking against operating plan.
• Identify opportunities for cost/time savings and process improvements.
• Assist with RMIS and intranet portal administration.
• Support Enterprise Risk Management processes.
• Assist with captive insurance company support.
• Assist with acquisition diligence and integration.
