Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Risk Management team. You will guide insurance matters, manage cross-functional collaboration with business units, and support the enterprise risk program to protect assets and earnings potential.

You will assist in renewals, claims, compliance, and budget-related reporting, while collaborating with EHS and the Risk Manager. This role requires strong communication and analytical capabilities and may involve travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a corporate risk management environment or large corporate broker.
• ARM or similar insurance certification is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication; able to present complex topics clearly.
• Ability to influence, motivate and collaborate across dispersed teams.
• Strong planning, organizing and project control abilities.
• Travel may be required.
• Team player with energy and initiative to advance the function.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing global insurance programs: renewals, claims, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with EHS on property loss control and infrared programs.
• Provide support to business units for COIs, auto ID cards, notices, etc.
• Administer the annual operating plan with monthly/quarterly variance reports and accruals.
• Ensure timely payment of program and department invoices.
• Identify opportunities for cost/time savings and process improvement.
• Assist in RMIS and intranet portal administration.
• Support Enterprise Risk Management processes semiannually.
• Assist with acquisition diligence and integration.
• Handle sensitive matters with judgment and discretion.
