Job summary

Allied World in Chicago is seeking a Multinational Insurance Coordinator to support end-to-end multinational placements across lines of business. You will coordinate policy issuance, gather and validate placement requirements, and ensure timely delivery of local policies with underwriting, legal, finance, and network partners.

The role involves analyzing account structures, reviewing coverage specifications, tracking global program deliverables, resolving issues, and maintaining data accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Understanding of multinational insurance programs and how local policies are placed and managed.
• Excellent organizational skills to ensure time frames are met for clients and all processing and documentation are completed.
• Ability to confidently work autonomously and interact with many stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and written & verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on geographical nuances and regulations impacting their risk decisions.
• Competency to build technical industry knowledge, establish an understanding of the international marketplace.
• Communicate with international network on service of global programs. Maintain ownership of communication flow between network and underwriters.
• Maintain, execute and resolve open items lists on a variety of projects for the Global Placement Team.
• Proactive, independent work ethic with strong time management, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision.
• Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
