Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a leader for strategic physical security across new builds and expansions. You'll define requirements, drive deployment, and collaborate with engineers, project teams, and vendors to deliver secure, cost-efficient solutions.

You'll manage multiple initiatives, continuously improve programs, and document new technology implementations to strengthen our global data center security posture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Experience with access-control, network security, security architecture, cryptography, or operations security.
• Experience reading technical documents, engineering drawings, or construction experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional stakeholder management in projects.
• Use of financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to drive business decisions or automate processes.
• Lifecycle design experience from strategy through execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic framework for new build physical security projects, establishing requirements and success criteria.
• Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and senior management daily.
• Identify opportunities to improve physical security across builds and expansions with scalable approaches.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage multiple projects while influencing and communicating with partners, contractors and vendors.
• Lead continuous improvement processes for physical security programs.
• Document and implement improvements related to new technologies.
