Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Program Manager for AWS Infrastructure Physical Security in Phoenix, AZ.

The role oversees design and installation of physical security features across data centers and facilities, collaborating with Cluster Security Managers, Data Center Engineering Operations, and government customers. You will drive security program enhancements, author security documents, and manage vendor contracts, with emphasis on meeting security standards and budget

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams.
• 5+ years working with physical security design and/or electronic security systems (access control, intrusion, CCTV).
• Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, Procore, BIM tools, Bluebeam, Visio/Office for technical docs.
• 2+ years in a regulated industry with audited facility security requirements.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical security design for new data centers, expansions, logistics facilities, and special projects.
• Oversee installation of access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, barriers, and related systems per AWS/government standards.
• Manage project budgets, vendor management, bid packages, drawings, and code compliance.
• Prepare security design documents and contracts for government customers.
• Coordinate with clusters, engineering operations, and customers to align security with operations.
