Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Manager, Physical Security Engineering to lead the AMER Leased/Owned data center security design program within the DCDE team. You will guide a team of engineers to deliver secure, cost-effective security designs across multiple data center projects.

You will set the technical direction, ensure compliance with the AWS Security Basis of Design, and partner with Real Estate, Construction Management, and external consultants to deliver high-quality security

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 12+ years of physical security design experience, including cameras, access control, intrusion detection, perimeter fencing, and related systems
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing engineering teams
• 3+ years of physical security design experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial/industrial facilities
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-project programs on time and within budget
• Experience managing external design consultants and vendor relationships at scale

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of Physical Security Engineers assigned to Leased/Owned commercial data center projects across the AMER region
• Define performance expectations, conduct 1:1s, and provide coaching to drive above-bar performance
• Own the Organization and Leadership Review process for your team
• Set the technical direction and quality bar for security designs across greenfield, BTS, and brownfield projects
• Ensure designs comply with AWS Physical Security Standard and Basis of Design
• Establish QA/QC standards for consultant deliverables at design milestones
• Direct engagement during pre-design phase for site selection and due diligence
• Travel to site assessments and coordination meetings up to 25-30%
