Job summary

Sompo is seeking an Information Security Officer to lead and modernize our global information security program. You will manage security across Windows, cloud, and SaaS environments for 7,000+ users, hundreds of developers and IT staff, 10,000+ devices, and 75+ locations.

You will oversee risk management, incident response, and security governance while aligning with regulatory and corporate policies. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years in technical, security and risk management roles.
• Minimum of 7 years in a senior information security management role.
• Experience translating operational metrics into KPIs and risk quantification.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective set of technical security controls with documented designs.
• Detect, report, and escalate vulnerabilities to operations teams.
• Operate an instrumented security alerting function tuned to the threat landscape.
• Maintain tested incident response procedures for any scale.
• Engage in SDLC to align with the information security program.
• Establish a communications program for security awareness and policy changes.
