Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a senior security engineering and incident response professional to lead global security initiatives across IT assets and applications. The role focuses on designing and deploying security controls, monitoring for threats, and coordinating incident response across regions.

The candidate will work with senior management to advance risk-based security programs, drive threat intelligence, and ensure ongoing protection of critical assets in a large, distributed enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Participate in complex, global IT projects across Applications, Infrastructure, Security to provide security engineering and ensure best-practice controls.
• Research and assess new threats, patches, and alerts, and recommend remedial actions.
• Design, test, and implement new security technologies and policies, creating business cases for investments.
• Review and update security policies, standards, and controls and implement improvements.
• Respond to major incidents as a CSIRT member, including high-priority or out-of-hours events.
