Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support labor and capacity studies across Powertrain, Stamping and Vehicle Operations. The role focuses on direct/indirect labor targets, time studies, and cycle-line planning for new models.

You will collaborate with multiple plant teams, drive standardization of IE methods, and travel domestically up to 25% to support launches and improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support forward model and capacity studies for all milestones in Powertrain, Stamping and Vehicle Operations.
• Lead labor optimization efforts through benchmarking, target setting and process changes.
• Assist with cycle line layouts, time studies and operator allocations for launches.
• Maintain IE documentation such as Labor Glidepath and APT Assessment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, material handling and plant personnel.
