Job summary

The New York office of Clifford Chance US LLP has an opening for an Incentives associate attorney in the firm’s Tax, Pensions, Employment & Incentives Group. We advise public and private companies on remuneration and employment tax globally, including incentive design, governance, and senior executive matters.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from an accredited US law school with NY bar admission or waiver, and possess strong experience in executive compensation and M&A.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited US law school; NY bar admission or ability to waive into NY bar.
• Experience in executive compensation; design, structuring and implementing equity-based compensation.
• Strong interest, entrepreneurial mindset and team-player.
• Prior experience in a peer law firm.

Responsibilities

• Advise on remuneration, incentives and employment tax globally.
• Handle remuneration policy, incentive design and operation; governance and disclosures; senior executive hires and exits.
• Engage in transactions including M&A, IPOs and other transformational events.
